Lidco is proud to announce the launch of a brand new Premier Range of window and door framing suites designed with thermal efficiency and style in mind. This new range includes the DuoTherm™ systems and features 100mm and 120mm frames, allowing it to easily couple with Lidco 100mm framing without unsightly rivets and screws.
Initially three systems will be available; the DuoTherm™Sliding/Stacking Door (370 System), the DuoTherm™ Sliding/Stacking Window (372 System), and the DuoTherm™ Awning/Casement Window (373 System).
Key features include full length woolpile on the DuoTherm™Sliding/Stacking Door and DuoTherm™ Sliding/Stacking Window systems to seal top and bottom gaps, resulting in ultra low air-infiltration making these systems ideal for air-conditioned buildings. The full length woolpile also improves the acoustic abilities of both systems. All three DuoTherm™ systems accept up to 10mm single glazing and up to 24mm double glazing without the use of adaptors.
The DuoTherm™Awning/Casement Window also features low air infiltration and high water resistance, making it suitable for many applications including multi-storey apartments. It has an attractive flush external look and features an extra strong sash design and solid corner stake allowing for large sash sizes. The chain winder is able to sit flush on the sill or transom with no overhang.
The new Premier Range has been designed to share common sections, allowing easy integration between systems and reduces the number of sections required for fabrication. The new range of Lidco framing systems will be both easy to specify and efficient to manufacture.

Lidco systems are now available on V6.
Lidco is pleased to announce that its popular range of window and door suites and commercial framing systems are now available on V6. This well-known estimating and manufacturing software package is developed by Soft Tech, a market leader in fenestration software.
Existing users already know the many benefits of using V6. Fabricators can easily build a virtual model of the frame and from this model generate a multitude of reports including quotes, bills of material orders, optimised fabrication sheets, cutting plans and shop drawings, all at the touch of a button. Production processes, such as material workflows, can be optimised to maximise throughput and minimise waste and downtime.

New Product Release at Grand Designs LIVE Sydney 2011
Lidco is extremely excited to announce the release of a new range of framing systems at the Grand Designs LIVE Sydney 2011 event. Klimat (Lidco's ventilation louvre) will also be releasing a new louvre product at the show which is sure to be a hugely popular product with architects and designers.
All will be revealed at the show, so be sure to pop in and see the Lidco and Klimat display at stand K35 in the BUILDING section of the exhibition.
The show will be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre and runs from Friday 21 October until Sunday 23 October 2011.

We are pleased to announce the availability of our aluminium window and door specifications in the AutoSpec library. This includes the Lifestyle, Thermaview, Pinnacle, DuoBloc and Alto series of windows and doors.
The AutoSpec system is a self-contained digital product library. Lidco’s product range and the resultant specification content have been constructed in partnership with AutoSpec and Lidco’s technical product experts.
By defining how and where the customer intends to use the Lidco product, the AutoSpec system will select the best fit for purpose system and generate an accurate, project-specific specification. As products are selected, AutoSpec writes the warranted specification for the selected Lidco products and then completes the specification document tailored for the project.
Specifications for the Lidco Emporia range of commercial framing systems along with the Klimat Airview Louvre range are also now available.
Lidco representatives and technical support teams will be using the system in the field and will be able to demonstrate our product library using AutoSpec.
