WindowMaker is the world’s leading window software, providing fabricators with accurate quotations and production schedules. Windowmaker is the perfect software solution for the calculation and manufacturing of windows and doors and commercial framing. It allows the fabricator to easily create attractive, clear and accurate quotations when tendering projects. The “Bill of Materials” capability allows the fabricator to accurately determine and optimise the material requirements necessary to fabricate Lidco’s systems, thereby minimising waste and inefficiencies.
Windowmaker is a comprehensive yet modular software tool that can be tailored to meet the fabricators individual needs.

How-To Guides:
Lidco is committed to offering a wide range of technical services to support our fabricators. It’s this aspect that differentiates Lidco as a systems provider from aluminium wholesalers.
Our experienced engineering team has developed detailed Technical Manuals to aid in the fabrication and assembly of our systems by using their previous fabrication experience to solve specific manufacturing issues. We strive to work with our fabricators to develop new ideas and products that are easy to adapt and cost effective to produce and install, along with being aesthetically appealing to both designers and building owners.
We work jointly with prominent designers to develop project specifications that combine functionality, energy efficiency and Australian Building Code requirements. This often involves providing detailed section assembly drawings or designing new sections to meet the unique needs of a project.
Available also to assist our fabricator network is LidcoMaker, our fabrication software. LidcoMaker provides fabricators with applications to assemble quotations, determine bills of material, cutting lists and has optimisation capabilities. In addition to LidcoMaker a number of our systems are now available in V6 format.

Fabricator Estimating and Production Package
Lidco’s popular range of window and door suites and commercial framing systems are now available on V6. This well-known estimating and manufacturing software package is developed by Soft Tech, a market leader in fenestration software. Existing users already know the many benefits of using V6. Fabricators can easily build a virtual model of the frame and from this model generate a multitude of reports including quotes, bills of material orders, optimised fabrication sheets, cutting plans and shop drawings, all at the touch of a button. Production processes, such as material workflows, can be optimised to maximise throughput and minimise waste and downtime.
